How Wind causes erosion
Wind is the weakest agent of erosion. Water ,waves, even mass movement have a greater effect on the land. Wind will cause erosion through abrasion and deflation. Wind is a powerful force in changing land if plants cant hold the soil in place.
Wind Deposition
All sediment picked up by wind will always fall back down after some time. The sediment falls when the wind meets a obstacle such as a big rock or big clumps of grass. Wind erosion and deposition will start to form sand dunes and loess deposits. When wind hit an obstacle the result is most likely going to be a sand dune.
